🇫🇷À l’été 2023, fraîchement installé à Paris, j’ai enfin rencontré Alex après des années d’attente. Ma première impression, influencée par sa notoriété en ligne, diffère grandement de la personne qu’il est réellement. Artiste polyvalent, de la poésie au chant, Alex s’est révélé charmant, joyeux, et débordant d’idées. Partageant des récits inattendus, il m’a surpris après avoir réalisé un petit dessin. Deux heures de séance photo plus tard, je présente avec fierté le premier numéro de MAGACINQ, mettant en avant Alex et son superbe poème.
🇬🇧In the summer of 2023, I just moved to Paris. Meeting Alex was long-planned, and after years of anticipation, we finally met to create some works together. My first impression of Alex, as an Internet sensation, was very different from who he really is as a person. A multi-talented individual, from poetry to singing, he was delightful and cheerful, full of ideas. He shared with me some of his stories, which were very unexpected based on my initial understanding of him. (We should never judge a book by its cover, right?) Especially after observing a small drawing that I asked him to make, I discovered more about this French gentleman—his favorites and fears in life. Two hours later, we finished our first-ever shoot together. And months later, I proudly present my first Individual MAGACINQ issue, featuring Alex and his beautiful poem.
